The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty - Live your imagination
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is a movie of about an
ordinary guy who is a day-dreamer and often zoned-out in imagination by getting
into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action. He works as
Negative Asset Manager at LIFE magazine and secretly loves his co-worker Cheryl
played by Kristen Wiig. LIFE magazine is turning into online and his job was
threatened where he has to provide special photograph named “negative 25”
clicked by LIFE’s ace photo journalist Sean O’Connell (played by Sean Penn) as
last print issue of magazine. Walter loses that photograph and get into real
adventurous quest on chasing Sean to get that picture.
Inspired by Cheryl and quest to do more in his life, Walter
sets out “negative 25” which him to Greenland, Iceland, Yemen and Afghanistan
in search of Sean and the picture he describes as “the quintessence of life”.
The movie is very well made with clearly defining the characteristic of Walter
Mitty and superb cinematography of all location. This movie pushes an
inner-self on each one of us who imagine several time our life in different
way. Ben Stiller has done superb job as an actor as well as Director of the
movie.
Go for it, for it’s adventurous spirit.
