Hugo - Adventure Of A Clockmaker

Hugo is a story of a boy lives between the walls of the station, maintaining the clocks, stealing food and working on his father's most ambitious project: repairing a broken automaton – a mechanical man who is supposed to write with a pen. Convinced that the automaton contains a message from his father, Hugo goes to desperate lengths to fix it. To repair the automaton Hugo steals mechanical part from a shop and get caught by Georges Melies who keeps his notebook where he put all information to repair the Automaton.
In the quest to recover his notebook he finds Georges is long forgotten ahead of his time Magician cum Movie Maker who stopped making movie since World War II. The movie is all about Hugo's passion to fulfill his father unfinished work and in the backdrop realization of Georges.
Just like any Martin Scorsese the art, direction, cinematography & editing is superb. This is a good cinema but somehow not that much extra ordinary to rate it as highest nomination for Oscar.
