The movie depicts the era our country gone through extreme challenge post partition. It shown the struggle of common man through Milkha Singh from refugee to soldier and than athlete.
It is inspirational and shows how a passion can drive person to new heights.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is known for excellent direction and he has really worked on detailing to put the story in interesting manner. The cinematography, background score and casting is superb. The movie does look stretch and could have manage 20-25 min. cuts, however still it is a great watch.
Last but not the least Farhan Akhtar again excels in his talent.
