Anks Movie Review: "The Help"
The film is an ensemble piece about a young white woman, Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan, and her relationship with two black maids during Civil Rights era America in the early 1960s. Skeeter is a journalist who decides to write a controversial book from the point of view of the maids (known as the Help), exposing the racism they are faced with as they work for white families.
The film has managed the subject of racism and women liberation exceptionally well. It wil make you think how socially we are divided and in past what sort of exploitation certain race had gone through.It has amazing performances by all actors especially by Emma Stone & Octavia Spencer. I presume for 2012 Academy Awards this movie is going to be in lead.
