Moneyball is a 2011 biographical sports drama inspired by a true story based on life of Sports GM of Oakland Athletics baseball team's 2002 season. In the film, Beane (Brad Pitt) and assistant GM Peter Brand (Jonah Hill), faced with the franchise's unfavourable financial situation, take a sophisticated statistical & quantitative approach towards scouting and analyzing players, acquiring undervalued players because of their physical deformity and winning 20 consecutive games, an American League record. The film shows how Billy followed his passion and with such a low budget made his team break all records in Baseball and changed the entire economics of Baseball sports.
It’s an awesome movie with Oscar winning performance by Brad Pitt. Go for it if you love sports movie.
