Anonymous, What's in a Name?? A shocking story from History
Anonymous is a political thriller and pseudo-historical drama about a fictionalized version of the life of Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, an Elizabethan courtier, playwright, poet and patron of the arts. The movie is setup in time of Queen Elizabeth I era and depicts the time when Shakespear's plays created rage in England. The movie shows the dirty politics and royal scandals which made Edward de Vere to release his own writings by using someone else names which happen to be Shakespear.
I really don't know how true is this story but it shocks you and certainly makes you think by drawing references of other stories related of Elizabeth era. It is quite good informative movie and mqde quite meticulously. The director handled juggling with flashbacks quite efficiently.
