Gone Girl : Shocking Reality
Superb, Fantastic, Shocking and Fantastic movie which will last in your mind for quite sometime.
Gone Girl is thriller drama about a couple Nick and Amy played by Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike where Amy goes mysteriously missing on her fifth anniversary. Her disappearance gets huge media coverage, as Amy was the
inspiration for her parents' popular Amazing Amy children's books. Her missing investigation
reveals the bad relationships between couple and evidence shows that she has
been possibly murdered by Nick. In parallel Nick tries to find her whereabouts through
clues she left for anniversary and realises that she has setup the whole thing to
make him suspect of her planned murder. The movie goes through very complicated
twist and turns any more revelation will be spoiler for those who has not seen
it yet.
David Fincher is as usual shows his perfection in movie
making and the way story is presented by going back and forth in timelines. As
a director he proved he has capability to handle varieties of genres like thriller such as Fight Club,
Seven as well as personality based drama like Curious Case of Benjamin Button
& The Social Network. He has done superb and deserves an Oscar for this
one. The another delight of the movie is Rosamund Pike with her exceptional performance as Amy and yes Ben Affleck adds to the perfection. This movie is unpredictable and make you jaw open out of shock the way it has dealt the relationship and conspiracy behind it.
Indeed this is the best movie of 2014.
