Sanju : So many lives in a lifeSanju is a 2018 biographical film based on the life of Sanjay Dutt (Ranbir Kapoor) directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film is narrated from Sanjay Dutt's perspective about his life from his younger days when he starts in his first movie, his relationship with his father, descent into alcoholism and drug addiction, his recovery, his friendship, being arrested for keeping illegal arms and involvement in the 1993 Bombay bombings, successful comeback in the film industry, and eventual release after completing his jail term. Though Sanjay Dutt's life is full of interesting stories, this movie focussed on his own version of his life and how he overcomes all such extreme situations. Rajkumar Hirani presents the story in a way which keeps the audience interested with emotional turmoils presented in the movie. The movie explains the story quite well especially the Father-Son relationship between Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Dutt (Paresh Rawal). The film has all the fine actors who played their part perfectly but one person who outshines everyone is Ranbir Kapoor who has literally cloned himself as Sanjay Dutt in all aspect. His action, voice modulation and acting in emotional sequences will make you believe him as original Sanjay Dutt. Paresh Rawal may not look identical to Sunil Dutt but played his part very well as Sanju's father. Another person you can't avoid to notice is Vicky Kaushal who done an amazing job and looked so natural in his role as Sanjay's best friend Kamli, especially his Gujarati ascent. People may have lots of question about the way this biographical drama portrayed Sanjay Dutt as real Hero, however as a movie it is quite entertaining and once again you will love Ranbir Kapoor's performance as one of finest actor of the present day.
